Freedom to Read Week contest

Last year’s contest was a huge success, so we’ve decided to do it again. Send in pictures of how you are celebrating Freedom to Read week (FTRW) at your library that we can use on our blog and in the Reporter. Your entry could be a photo of a book display, a puppet show on internet filtering, staff in FTRW themed shirts, a program you are doing for FTRW, or you and your banned books bracelet or tattoo. Winners will be selected randomly and will receive a set of fabulous intellectual freedom themed buttons.

Please email your entries to tara_robertson at yahoo dot com by March 3rd.

Hopefully I’ll see you at our button making party, or the Freedom to Read week events we are cosponsoring next week in Vancouver.   Here’s the poster of these events.
